Jackie
Practice Manager

Jackie has worked with Dr. Ratcliff since 1988. She has been at Ratcliff Animal Hospital since its inception in 1994.

She is a resident of DeSoto Parish since 1979.

She has 1 son, Seth. Four mixed breed cats (Myra, Mallie, Clarence & Marley) and 1 Westie (Saltie) allow her to share their living space. She has 2 paint horses; Iceman, who never refuses a carrot or being groomed and Donna.

She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association & Veterinary Hospital Managers Association.

Rebecca
Sr. Animal Care Specialist

Rebecca is a native of Shreveport where she lives with her husband Gene. Her 2 mixed breed cats; Albert & Sara are natives of Shreveport, too.

She has worked in veterinary medicine since 1982. She worked with Dr. Ratcliff, at the Animal Emergency Clinic, for 4 years before moving with him to open Ratcliff Animal Hospital in 1994.

She enjoys being active in her church, traveling on her Harley, and studying Tai Chi. College courses keep her occupied as well. She is currently working towards a degree as a registered veterinary technician.

She has been awarded the 2004 Support Person of the Year by the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association.

Darcie
Animal Care Specialist

Darcie is 30 years old and has a 8 year old daughter named Kaili Marie. She has four dogs named "Kiva" ,"Bubba", "Zilla" and "Outlaw". Her hobbies include watching TV, horseback riding and going to the park.

Kathryn
Receptionist

My name is Kathryn Hearron Bounds. I was born and raised in Shreveport, graduate of Byrd High School, and I moved back from Texas in 2006, after residing there for 12 years. I started with Ratcliff Animal Hospital, May 2006.

I share my household with my husband, Eric, and my two children from my previous marriage, Cody (14), and Laurilyn (9). We also have a Schnauzer mix named Boog who is about 3 years old. We are hoping by next summer to add a Boxer to the family.

We are active members of Kingston Road Baptist Church, where I teach Sunday school to 4 and 5 year olds. I am a puppeteer with our puppet team, Devotion In Motion. I also love to sing praises and hope to maybe one day have my own singing ministry.

I am currently studying elementary education and would love to teach 1^st thru 3^rd grades.

My interests include LSU Tiger football as well as Nascar racing.
